Package Handler supports people in structuring bulky digital collections into discernible package units according to the Swiss standard eCH 0160.

User Experiences[edit]

  • It validates eCH 0160 packages
  • It helps analysing a digital collection before appraisal or ingest
  • It automatically transforms folder structures into packages
  • It assists description or cataloguing by offering means of adding metadata to units
  • If other tools for XML conversion are present, the resulting eCH 0160 packages can be ingested under other standards
