Description[edit]

The DLCM solution is the Technology dedicated to the long-term preservation and publication of research data at the level of Switzerland with the OLOS implementation and the Canton of Geneva with Yareta. Open source and compliant with the OAIS reference model (ISO 14721) and international standards, the solution is designed to support the acquisition, validation, ingestion, storage, management, preservation, and dissemination of all types of research data, in accordance with the requirements of Swiss funders (SNSF) and the FAIR principles.

Since March 2024, Yareta has been part of the trusted data repositories, meeting the requirements of the Core Trust Seal, an international non-governmental organization that promotes the development of sustainable and reliable data infrastructures.
