Sage Coffee Machines

Sage coffee machines include a built-in burr grinder that has an adjustment dial to adjust the amount of ground beans. The beans are then dispersed directly into the portafilter. They also have a low-pressure pre-infusion system and a 9 bar extraction system which ensures a perfect espresso flavor.

Select your single or double shot. Then, steam the milk with the steam wand, which is automated, and enjoy your cafe-style coffee at your home!

Barista Express

The Barista Express is an espresso maker that is of top quality and provides the cafe experience in your home. It has a lot of features that are ideal for those who want to practice their skills however, it also has options that help novices get good shots quickly. It's a bit more expensive than other machines we've tested, however it offers a higher performance.

The machine features a thermocoil system that quickly heats up and allows for a smooth transition between steaming and brewing. It is among the few machines that can make that perfect layer of steamed milk for lattes, which is difficult to achieve without lots of practice. This feature was a major aspect for us as we were looking for the machine that could produce the rich and creamy cafe-style coffee that we adore. The Barista Express was able to do this, but it did take longer than some of the other models we reviewed.

It comes with a large tank that can hold up to 67 tons. It is easy to refill and comes with an integrated water filter which eliminates impurities and keeps your coffee fresh. The machine is easy to clean, which is a great feature. Descale the machine at minimum every 3 months to prevent mineral build-up.

The Barista Express, like the other Breville machines that we tested, is designed for users to test their skills. This means that the machine does not have the more advanced features found in other Breville models, such as an LCD display that shows the amount of water and pressure are being used, as well as an automatic milk frother. However, this doesn't mean that the Barista Express isn't a great option for coffee lovers who are looking to upgrade from their current home espresso machine.

This model has 4 portafilter baskets that include both pressurized and non-pressurized versions. It also comes with a top-quality tamper, which is easily stored inside the machine. The tamper is adjustable to ensure that you get the right amount of pressure when making a shot. It also has a low-pressure pre-infusion stage that helps smooth out the grind and ensure a consistent extraction at 9 bar pressure.

Dual Boiler

The machine was developed by Sage (or Breville worldwide) to provide those who desire coffee that is cafe-quality at home. It comes with two unique features that set it apart from its competitors. It firstly, it has a bottomless portafilter, which gives the espresso shot a lovely look and allows you to see how much pre-infusion has occurred. It also comes with a manual switch that will keep the machine in the pre-infusion mode until you press it again. This is a great feature that mimics how baristas work in cafes, and makes it really easy to pull a great shot every time.

It also comes with a steam pressure gauge that is pretty cool, and the ability to adjust the pre infusion power to accommodate different extraction times. This is another feature which isn't common on domestic machines but makes a massive difference to the consistency of your shots. Additionally, it comes with an easy-to-read water level indicator so you can see when it's time to refill.

This machine is different from other Sage models because it has an double boiler system. This allows you to make a brew while steaming, which is great for milk-based drinks. It also comes with a PID that allows you to control temperature of the brew which is not available on other machines. The only downside is that this machine costs more than one boiler or heat exchanger systems.

The EB590 also has a number of other features. It can be programmed so that it turns on at a particular time, so that it's there for you at the time you want it. This is a fascinating feature that is not found on many machines. It's a great feature for people who depend on their coffee maker in the morning to help wake them up.

It also has an automatic standby mode as well as an auto shutoff, both of which are extremely beneficial features to improve energy efficiency. The auto shutdown feature is particularly useful as it will automatically shut off after an hour of inactivity. This will lower your electric bill and prolong the life of the machine.

Oracle

Sage coffee machines were designed with the user in mind and this is evident in their selection of machines. They've realised that not everyone wants to take on the challenges of barista style espresso making and so their machines aim to automatize as much of the process as they can while still allowing users to be involved in the extraction and processing of milk for cappuccino and Latte art. Many of their models have a built in burr grinder or are compatible with stand alone models for a complete bean-to-cup experience.

The Oracle is a great illustration of this. It has the brilliant Sage Dual Boiler at its base and makes use of it to make excellent quality espresso but then adds automated dosing, tamping and milk texturing to remove the requirement for any level of barista skills. Other features include programmable pouring and a triple-heat system. The downside is that it is one of the more expensive coffee machines for domestic use on the market.

If you're looking for a less expensive Sage machine then the Duo Temp Pro might be worth a look, it does not come with the App technology or pressure gauge of the Oracle but it's a great bean to cup machine. It comes with a large water tank and can be used with filter amazon coffee machine, as well as ground coffee. It also has steam wands and a digital display. The time to heat up of three seconds is quite impressive. The majority of commercial machines take a lot longer to reach the temperature needed for extraction.

The Sage Precision Brewer is the most recent addition to their range of filter coffee makers and although it is at the top end of the price range for a coffee maker at home, it comes with a few special features that make it stand out from the crowd. It comes with a variety of fittings for the brew basket to allow you to use a variety of filters, and it has a removable inner cone to allow you to use a reusable filter. It has a handy clock to set it the night before to make an instant jug in the morning. The automatic milk texturing is an excellent feature too, it can be adjusted to your preference so that you can create the perfect smooth or frothy coffee.

Duo Temp Pro

The Sage Duo Temp Pro is an excellent machine for those who want to make third wave specialty coffee at home. This espresso machine has a low-pressure technicolor pre-infusion system to ensure even extraction and balanced flavors. It comes with an tamper that makes it easier to apply the correct amount of pressure when putting the coffee grounds into the portafilter. It also has a handy maintenance indicator which informs you when to clean your machine.

The Duo Temp Pro is a great espresso machine with many features that distinguish it from the other models. The automatic purge feature keeps the temperature of the water consistent throughout the brewing process. The stainless steel tank is constructed to last. It is equipped with a 1600W thermocoil heating system which allows you to get the best quality espresso every time.

This machine does not come with a built-in coffee grinder. It is recommended that you use a Sage Barista Touch or an external grinder with an adjustable dose control to make the most of this machine. It's not a self-cleaning. You'll need to carry out routine maintenance such as decalcifying and washing. These tasks are simple and can take just 30 minutes. They are also necessary to keep the machine running smoothly.

The Duo Temp Pro is not intended for novices. It's not as user-friendly as fully automated machines, but it can make an excellent cup of espresso when you follow the directions. The brew valve is pressed against the grinds with a splash of lower-pressure water before boosting up to full pressure which can help correct small errors in tamping or grind size. This helps new users get an improved tasting cup.

The Duo Temp Pro also has steam wands with an element of 1600 watts. This will produce a large amount of milk that can be used to make cappuccinos or flat whites. It comes with a large steel milk container that can handle high temperatures for microfoam. The wand also has an adjustable dial that allows you complete control over duration of the steaming.
