Community Owned digital Preservation Tool Registry (COPTR)
COPTR helps practitioners find tools needed for long term digital preservation tasks. It describes 622 tools and 36 workflows.
Find Tools To Try
You can find a digital preservation tools to experiment with using the Tools Grid. Or you can view tools by stage, function, content type or file format. Watch this video to learn more.
Find Workflows To Learn From
You can also view digital preservation workflows to learn how digital preservation is implemented in practice and which tools are involved.
Contribute Your Experiences
To be useful, COPTR needs your help to update existing records as tools change, or to reflect your experiences using the tools. We also need new records for any new or missing tools you think are useful and we'd love to host more digital preservation workflows so we can learn more how these tools are used in context. You can find out more about how you can get involved here.
