<!-- Use the structure provided in this template, do not change it! --> == Description == FIDOO is an abbreviation for "Format Identification of Digital Objects Online" and is inspired by the OPF Format Identification tool FIDO. It is a web-based tool to identify the format of files, no installation or uploading required. It reads files locally. No files are uploaded and all information is destroyed if you close your browser. The website is free to use and allows up to 250 files to be analyzed at a time. The identification engine is not open source and can be licensed for use in web-based ingest workflow front-ends. === Development / Bugs === See Github repository issue page for more information on development and bugs. == User Experiences == <!-- Add hotlinks to user experiences with the tool (eg. blog posts).
