Description[edit]

Veridian Software is an online platform to make digitized collections more accessible to users.

It features full-text searching, search result summary, search facets and filters, and various browsing structures.

Veridian is built specifically to support digital objects in the METS/ALTO standard, which is well established as the industry standard for newspaper digitization projects. Veridian supports METS/ALTO both with and without article segmentation and can even support both types of data within the same collection
