BWF MetaEdit
BWF MetaEdit permits embedding, validating, and exporting of metadata in Broadcast WAVE Format (BWF) files.

Description

BWF MetaEdit allows importing, embedding, editing, and exporting of mettdata in Broadcast WAVE Format (BWF) files; validating, and exporting of metadata in Broadcast WAVE Format (BWF) files. Additional functions include the creation, verifion, and embedding of MD5 checksums into the BWF file, and reporting of certain errors in WAVE files.

Developed in 2010 for the Library of Congress and other federal government agencies by the Federal Agencies Digitization Guidelines Initiative (FAGDI) and is supported by AVPreserve. Written in C++. BWF MetaEdit is in the public domain.

Platform

BWF MetaEdit is configured for command line and GUI for Windows/PC, Macintosh, and several major Linux distributions.
