== Description == According to the ArchiveReady website: "ArchiveReady is a web application that checks if a website is archivable. This means to check if it is easy for web archiving projects to access and preserve it. In order to check this, ArchiveReady validates a number of web page characteristics such as standards compliance and accessibility". ArchiveReady evaluates the components of a web site according to four different criterias, called facets: * Accessibility * Cohesion * Metadata * Standards Compliance Among others the following components are checked: *HTML & CSS *HTTP headers *Embedded media *Sitemap *Robots.txt ArchiveReady covers two important branches of web archiving: the archiving process itself and long term preservation. The information given by ArchiveReady can help to optimize the crawling process and allows considerations towards the preservation of the archived data. ArchiveReady also provides an API. Large scale use and support is available on a fee.
